No not at all, it doesn't matter how much you score in your 12th grade while applying for the GATE exam. Your candidature doesn't depend on the marks you score, what needed is to have a Bachelors degree. Moreover, getting decent marks in 12th will surely help you to know your calibre and at the same time it helps you to boost your confidence and knowledge which can get you an added advantage while attempting exam.

In 2024, Sardar Patel University offered M.Tech courses based on GATE scores. In consideration to it, Sardar Patel University has released the GATE cutoff for various All India categories including General, OBC, SC, and EWS. Further, Sardar Patel University cutoff 2024 for MTech in Cyber Security stood at 360 for the general AI category candidates.

If you just want to grab a seat in IIT Patna then your OBC rank has to be in 2800-3200 OBC NCL rank while General rank would be around 12000. If you want to get top branches like CSE, ECE, then you will have to be in Top 500 of your category rank.

The JEE Mains (Common Rank List - CRL) cutoff of last year (2024) for B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKG PTU) for General category Home State candidates varied between around rank 63 and rank 1710 in the last round of seat allotment. This cutoff applies to Home State quota and General category candidates. Cutoffs differ based on category and quota.

Yes, OJEE is generally considered easier than JEE in terms of the difficulty level. The level of the OJEE exam is easy to moderate and it focuses on basic concepts. The difficulty level of the JEE exam is high and majorly focuses on deep understanding of the concepts.
The OJEE exam is a state level entrance exam whereas the JEE exam is a national-level entrance exam and is accepted by some of the top institute in the country. Also, the competition in OJEE exam is comparatively lesser than JEE as it is accepted at the national level.
