The JEE Main exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It is conducted for admission to BTech in most colleges all over India, not only for the Government Engineering College, Gandhinagar. The JEE Main exam is conducted twice a year. The results for session 1 were released on February 12, 2025, and the results for session 2 were released on May 23, 2025. You can check the cutoff on: GEC Gandhinagar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities.

To secure admission to the M.Tech programme at DPG Institute of Technology and Management (DPGITM), Gurgaon, candidates are required to have a valid GATE score. While the institute does not publicly disclose specific GATE cutoff scores, meeting the minimum qualifying marks in the GATE examination is essential. In addition to the GATE score, applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology with a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for reserved categories). For those without a GATE score, DPGITM may conduct its own entrance examination as an alternative pathway for admission.

1.IITs:

Very low chance with this score in the general category. Only possible via preparatory courses or interdisciplinary programs (very rare and limited). If you belong to SC/ST/PwD, you may have a chance in lesser-known IITs or special programs.

2. NITs:

Top NITs (Trichy, Warangal, Surathkal) – Unlikely. Lower-ranked NITs (e.g., NIT Meghalaya, NIT Arunachal) – Possible in spot rounds or for less preferred specializations. Branch shift may be an option later if you get admitted.

3. IIITs:

Some IIITs like IIITDM Kurnool, IIIT Bhagalpur, IIIT Nagpur may accept such scores depending on the year and competitions.

After the JEE Main session 2 result announced, candidates need to first head on to official JEE Main website to know the performance in terms of rank and marks on the portal. You further need to download the scorecard to assess your performance. The needed details to log in are application number and birth date. Apart checking scorecard and rank, they need to check out their qualifying status. Based on your results, you then have to make up your mind to prepare for JEE Advanced or not to get into the IITs. Moreover, the candidates who qualify the JEE Main exam will be allowed to sit for the counselling rounds of NITs, IIITs, and other

As per the IIT Bombay JEE Advanced cutoff 2024, the needed rank to get admission to BTech and BTech Integrated courses stood between 68 and 7430 for the General AI category candidates. Further, to get a smooth selection at IIT Bombay it is always better to acquire a rank as low as possible. Securing a All India rank under 50 will allow you to go for any course of your choice at IIT Bombay.

As per the IIT Bombay year-wise cutoff trends, a significant increase in the difficulty level can be seen in JEE Advanced exam 2024 as compare to JEE Advanced 2023. This is because, in 2024, the level of the paper was near about easy to moderate which had decreased the cutoffs drastically. Moreover, it is expected that the competition for top BTech courses will be seemingly increase to get coveted seat in an IIT.

IIT Bombay accepts JEE Advanced scores. If we talk about the IIT Bombay 2023 cutoff, candidates had witnessed lenient cutoffs as compared to IIT Bombay JEE Advanced cutoff 2022. However, 11000 rank is quite more than the official cutoff released by the institute. You should at least have a rank of 9064 under General AI category. Further, candidates seeking admission under OBC AI category must aim a rank below 4004.
