With a CRL (Common Rank List) of 858,390 and an OBC (Other Backward Classes) rank of 332,295 in JEE Mains, admission to a government college for a B.Tech in Information Technology (IT) is not feasible. Historically, cutoffs for government colleges are way lower, especially for popular branches like IT, and can ask for much higher ranks.
But cutoff ranks vary every year based on available seats, reservation in the category, and number of applicants. Look for the latest cutoff information on the official website of JEE Mains counseling (JoSAA) and visit private college as well.

With a 91.22% percentile and an open-EWS rank of 21974 in JEE Mains, you might be able to secure admission to a good engineering college in Maharashtra, but likely not one of the absolute top-ranked institutions like IIT Bombay or ICT Mumbai; you may be able to get into a reputed private college or a lower-ranked government college depending on your branch preference and the specific cutoff for the college and course you choose.

Meeting certain cutoff ranks in both JEE Mains and JEE Advanced is necessary to gain admission to the Computer Science Engineering (CSE) branch at prestigious universities like IITs and NITs.

Securing direct admission to IITs is improbable with a 12th-grade PCM score of 81% and a SC preparation rank of 4203 in JEE Advanced 2024, as this rank normally falls above the cutoff for SC category seats. However if you don't meet the regular cutoffs, you can be eligible for a one-year preparatory course that IITs give to SC, ST and PwD candidates. Students can be admitted to the following academic year after successfully completing this course. To investigate your alternatives you must take part in the Joint Seat Allocation Authority's (JoSAA) counseling procedure.

Due to higher cutoff ranks it may be difficult to gain admission to prestigious National Institutes of Technology (NITs) for subjects like Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) or the Electrical Engineering (EE) if you have an All India Rank (AIR) of 172383 in JEE Mains and fall within the OBC-NCL category.
Using data from prior years, you may be able to get into less popular branches or newer NITs.
You may want to apply to the following NITs:
NIT Arunachal Pradesh: Arunachal Pradesh's Itanagar, a more recent NIT with comparatively higher cutoff ratings that offers a variety of engineering majors.
Aizawl, Mizoram's NIT Mizoram:&

Due to their high cutoff ranks it is doubtful that a candidate with a JEE Main rank of 971,495 will be admitted to one of Delhi's top engineering schools, like IIT Delhi or Delhi Technological University (DTU). Nonetheless a few of private engineering schools in the Delhi NCR area may accept your rank and a two-year educational gap through direct admissions or management quota seats. Among the notable institutes are
A variety of engineering majors are available at Amity University in Noida with direct admission options.
Renowned for its engineering programs and accommodating entrance requirements is Galgotias University.

With a JEE Advanced SC category rank of 2,900, getting admission to Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) or Electrical Engineering (EE) programs in the older, more established IITs is doubtful, as their closing ranks for these branches are often significantly lower. However, newer IITs and other National Institutes of Technology (NITs) may give prospects.
Possible IITs:
IIT Bhubaneswar: The CSE closing rank has historically been approximately 2,806.
IIT (BHU) Varanasi: About 1,010 was the ending rank for CSE.
Possible NITs:
NIT Trichy: The closing rank for SC category candidates from various states has been about 2,773 for Electronics a

It is improbable that an OBC candidate having a rank of 100,526 in JEE Main will be admitted into Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) Mesra, according to last year statistics. For example, in 2023, the closing rank for OBC applicants to Civil Engineering was 18,615.
Studying other reputable engineering schools with higher cutoff ranks would be more possible based on your rank.

With 96.12 percentile in JEE Mains and 71.4% in CBSE board exams of 12th, you can be considered for admission in NITs and IIITs, but each institute's eligibility may differ. Most NITs and IIITs require a minimum aggregate of 75% in 12th or to be among the top 20 percentile in your board exam for general category students. But some IIITs and NITs relax the criteria for specific categories. You should make sure to verify the respective eligibility and cutoff information of the institutions you are applying to, particularly in terms of your category.
