The cutoff for the JEE Main at Canara Engineering College (CEC) differs according to the course and category of the student. For example, in the KCET 2024 (Karnataka Common Entrance Test), the closing ranks were different in the B.Tech course. In some popular courses, such as B.E. in Computer Science, the closing rank was 39,604 during Round 1 but escalated to 42,915 in the final round. Other branches, like Mechanical Engineering, closed with a rank of 117,962 in the final round.

Yes, one may seek admission into B.E./B.Tech courses offered at Canara Engineering College through all of these routes. Admissions at the college primarily are given based on the rankings or marks secured by candidates from Karnataka CET (KCET) or COMEDK UGET. Generally speaking, these entrance examinations offer the most widely practiced avenue for admission to those of other states as well. Additional quota is available under management quota which can also be considered without an entrance examination score and only upon availability. The result date for the admission process to M.S. Engineering College normally coincides with the formal declaration by the National Testing Agency, NTA, of JEE Main results. For 2024, JEE Main is likely to declare results in the month of February for the January session and April for the April session after its exams are over. Though, the date of result is to be declared later on by NTA on their website. After the release of results, M.S. Engineering College will consider the scores of JEE Main score for admission into B.E. / B.Tech. programs in the institution.

As different things keep on changing every year- the number of applicants, the difficulty level of exams and seat availability, the cut-off for M.S. Engineering College in JEE Main varies every year. The college usually admits its students based on their JEE Main scores, with ranks being determined after counseling for cutoff ranks. For instance, general category students would have cutoff ranks between 50,000 to 1,00,000 for a particular branch and branch-related demand. For specific and updated information, candidates can visit the official website of M.S. Engineering College or check out the details of JEE Main counseling for this y

Yes, admission to the B.E. / B.Tech course at M.S. Engineering College is possible without JEE Main. The college takes entrance exams other than KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) and COMEDK (Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka) for admitting students. Students may get a seat based on the merit secured in these state-level entrance exams, and admissions are strictly based on merit. Although some institutions accept JEE Main, M.S. Engineering College offers alternative routes through regional entrance exams, which gives flexibility to students who did not appear for JEE Main.

A 75 percentile in JEE probably gives you a little hope for getting into B.Tech at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), but it also depends on what branch you apply for. SMVDU considers students based on the ranks of JEE Main. So generally, these branches like Computer Science and Engineering are having much higher cutoffs. In most cases, a score at the percentile allows those who fall under the mid-range of candidates by a better chance for less competitive branches or if the seats are vacant after the first rounds of counseling.
Best of luck to check the latest cutoff trend at the official site of SMVDU or from JoSAA (Joint Seat

The primary resource for admission into the B.Tech programme at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) is JEE Advanced results, as it tends to nurture the best students from an academic and technical background. 75% in JEE Mains is nevertheless not enough for directly gaining admission into B.Tech by RGIPT, as JEE Advanced is concerned most of the time. However, seats are likely to be remaining unfilled after the first round of admission, and it again can take such students with good JEE Mains scores.
So, check RGIPT's admission portal to know the detailed cutoffs and other criteria applicable for the academic session cu

Yes, you can get admission to the B.E. / B.Tech courses at Camellia Institute of Technology (CIT) without WBJEE if you have a valid JEE Main score. While WBJEE is the preferred entrance exam for candidates from West Bengal, students from other states can apply using their JEE Main scores. However, you must still meet the eligibility criteria, which include having completed your 12th grade with subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and meeting the required percentage. Admission will be based on the merit list formed from your entrance exam score and academic performance.
