Clearing the concepts means gaining a deep understanding of a topic rather than just memorising it. Candidates who truly gain a deep understanding of the topics get the confidence to solve any question asked of them in exams like JEE Main and Advanced.

To clear all the concepts of JEE Advanced in every chapter, here are tips:

Build the foundation: Start from the basics. Use the NCERT books to learn what a topic is offering. NCERT books have a lot of examples and simple language that make it easier to understand the concepts and basics. 

Learn in a step-wise manner: First, learn the basics, then try to make your own notes. Then move on to the application of the concepts to various questions asked in JEE Mains and Advanced. 

Solve PYQs and take a lot of Mock Tests: How to apply the concepts in the exam can be learnt only by solving a lot of previous year question papers and mock exams. Try to solve as many PYQs and mock tests as possible while preparing for JEE.

Keep an eye on your weak areas: The weak areas should be constantly monitored. Make sure to figure out what mistakes you are making and learn from them. Identify the weak areas and work on them constantly.

Dates of JEE Counseling in Relation to KIIT

The counseling for KIIT generally commences almost immediately after the declaration of the results of JEE Mains. For the year 2024, it is expected that the counseling will take place for the students at some point during June or July. 

If you take a second partial drop, you may still be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2025, provided you meet :

1. You have an obligation to write JEE Main 2025 meeting the minimum percentile score to qualify for JEE Advanced.


2. A candidate can sit for only JEE Advanced once in two years only and second attempt, should be within two years of passing the Class 12 examination.


3. For the second drop, the Class 12 marks whether by improvement or through normal examinations, should have the qualifying percentage for JEE Advanced.
