The percentages of various categories of candidates to be shortlisted are: 10% for GEN-EWS, 27% for OBC-NCL, 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, and the remaining 40.5% is OPEN for all.

Yes, JEE Main Admission dates for admission to BTech at DTU. DTU Admission 2026 for BTech begins with the release of the JEE Main application form. Further, the Session 2 exam is over for 2026.

No, the university does not accept GATE or any other entrance exam score. Admission to M.Tech course is purely based on merit. Bharath University shortlists candidates for M.Tech based on their score in the last qualifying exam. BIHER releases a merit list announcing the names of selected aspirants. The shortlisted aspirants are called for counselling and document verification round. Aspirants need to bring the documents proving their eligibility for verification. SHUATS (Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences) does not participate in JEE Main Counselling 2023 conducted by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority). Therefore, there is no JEE 2023 Counselling schedule at SHUATS. However, SHUATS conducts its own counseling process for admission to its engineering courses. Candidates who have qualified for JEE Main 2023 and meet the eligibility criteria for SHUATS can apply for admission to the university through its counseling process. Candidates are advised to check the official website of the university for updates on the counseling process.
