Students appearing for 10+2 or Engineering Diploma are also eligible. Maharashtra State candidates must have to appear for MHT CET. All India candidates need to appear for MHT-CET/JEE Mains. Admission is through counseling conducted by DTE Maharashtra based on marks obtained in Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH-CET) or rank obtained in JEE-Mains. For international students admission is through counseling conducted by DTE Maharashtra based on marks obtained in mandatory subjects in 10+2. The admission for first-year engineering degree courses is done through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP). To become eligible for CAP the candidates need to register their application online. They can visit the website of the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra and fill-up the form. Candidates have to report to the Application Form Receipt Centre (ARC) for document verification. Candidates will be shortlisted for CAP rounds based on their score in the entrance exam and preferences given by them for courses and colleges.
