No, candidates who are applying through their GATE score are not required to appear for the Written Test conducted by IIIT Bhubaneshwar for M.Tech admissions. This Written Test is only meant for candidates who did not apply through a valid GATE score. Other candidates will be moved directly to the PI round during M.Tech admissions.

No, GATE is not a mandatory entrance exam for securing admissions at IIIT Bhubaneshwar. Candidates who fail to secure a GATE scorecard can still appear for the IIIT Bhubaneshwar M.Tech entrance exam which includes a written test. The syllabus of this written test is the same as the GATE.

There are many colleges in India that offer B.E courses in India. Army Institute of Technology Pune is one of them. It offers B.E. courses in several Engineering streams. In 2025 the college got an NIRF rank of #201-300 in the Engineering category. The cutoffs of Army Institute of Technology for the year 2026 are not out yet & will be updated once released by the college. For B.E. programmes the cutoff is released on the basis of the JEE (Main) score. Every year there are changes in cutoffs based on the level of competition, category and the number of seats available

The BTech Electronics & Communication Engineering in IIIT Nagpur covers wide areas of study such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Internet of Things, Image & Computer Vision and CMOS design also form a part of the curriculum.

Of course, you can. But there'll be a huge career shift from Engineering to Management. An MBA is focused on management and leadership roles, which are not a part of the Engineering field.
Engineering is more about experiments, explorations, and innovations.
Take a moment to think deeply about your eventual career goals and then decide. It's indeed a big step, and if you want to be in a technical line in the future, an MTech is a more ideal option.

The difference is simple! Petroleum Engineering means producing oil and gas from reservoirs. And Petrochemical Engineering means dealing with chemicals (petroleum-based) carried out in a refinery.
Petroleum Engineering areas include Drilling, Reservoir, Production, Formation Evaluation, Well Logging, Exploration of Oil and Gas, etc.
Petrochemical Engineering areas include downstream operations, such as processing the received oil and gas to produce end products.

No, students can not do B.E. courses in Army Institute of Technology without JEE exam. The admisisons to B.E. courses are purely based on JEE (Main) score. For being eligible to fill the application form students need to score minimum of 45% in class 12 or equivalent in the Science stream.
