Students from Tamil Nadu would essentially be getting admission based on TNEA scores. Some specific seats may be allocated to candidates who have already taken national examinations like JEE Main. Some seats are reserved for direct admission through the Management Quota also.

Yes, you can take direct admission to the B.E. / B.Tech course at Park College of Engineering and Technology (PCET) without participating in TNEA counseling. There's the management quota as well as a valid score from other entrance exams, including JEE Main. While TNEA is the main entry process for students under the government quota, management quota seats are another way in.
