MET application fee is INR 800. Students will have to pay application fee online, i.e., through net banking/debit card/credit card/UPI/PayTM. If fee is not paid before final date, then it will not be accepted.

No offline MET application form will be available. Students will have to access the MET application form online and fill it out with the required details .The application fee has to be paid online and submitted. The authorities will not accept print outs of the filled application form.

MET slots cannot be changed by students. Since slots are given according to preferences submitted during slot booking, authorities will not accept requests to make any changes. Students should be careful while choosing their slots.

MET OTBS password will not be sent individually to the students. The OTBS password to access the MET slot booking facility is the student's date of birth, in the DDMMYYYY format. Using the MET OTBS password and application number, they can login and book their slots.

MET 2026 slot booking dates have been announced. For Phase 1 exam, MET slot booking facility will be available online from March 31 to April 2, 2026. Students will have to log in and book their preferred MET exam slots before final date. Phase 2 slot booking will be open from May 9 to 11, 2026.

The level of MET syllabus will be similar to the 12th standard qualifying exam syllabus. Since most of the topics will be the same as the ones the students studied for the board examination, they are advised to review the syllabus carefully and prepare for the exam.

MET syllabus is released online. Students have to study topics from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. Question paper will be prepared on syllabus, so students should be familiar with topics.

MET mock test will be available for all students. For mock test, no login details will be needed. Mock test will be available online. Candidates can use mock test to prepare for examination.
