You just apply for M.Tech at IIT for getting admission once you have cleared the GATE exams.

RV Institute of Technology is a reputed institution. It was established in 2009 in Uttar Pradesh. GATE results will be accepted by IIT Bombay for admission to the M.Tech programme. Candidates must secure at least 60% of the total marks (55% of the total marks for SC/ST/PwD category) in any of the following degrees: BE, B.Tech, B.Sc., Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Planning, M.Sc., MCA, MBBS, M.Pharm, B.Pharma, BDS or a recognised qualification equivalent to BE or B.Tech.

Apply online through the official MIT Pune website, fill up the required details and submit the application form. Applicants will receive a login ID and password on their dashboard. After that, applicants will have to pay the application fee of INR 1500. The date and other details will be displayed on the dashboard and applicants will get the test link for MIT-WPU CET.

Among Gauhati University or Tezpur University, candidates looking forward to the scope of getting a higher median salary can prefer Gauhati University while if we look at the university from the perspective of total tuition fee, the fee for BTech at Tezpur University is comparatively low. Hence, those who wish to go to a more affordable option can opt for the latter option.

Gauhati University has not released any official placement statistics for BTech students after the placements drive of 2022. However, as per external sources, the highest package offered to BTech students was INR 6 LPA during the recent placement drive. These stats may vary further once the highest package offered is released by the university on the official website. In addition to this, a few placement details have been procured from the NIRF report 2022 for 4-year UG courses, the same are shown in the below table:

As per the official 2022 brochure released by Guwahati University, admission to BTech is completely entrance-based. While 20% of the total seats for BTech are reserved for students who have passed the JEE Main exam (provided that have the official PRC of the state), the remaining 80% of the seats are filled via the pass out students of Assam CEE. Furthermore, students also have an option to secure lateral entry admission directly to the second year of the BTech course. Admission to BTech Lateral Entry courses is subject to a valid score in JLEE Assam exam.

Guwahati University has not released any BTech specific placements data for the recruitment drive of 2022 or 2023 as of now. However, as per the verified students reviews available on Shiksha,
