Applying for counseling may be difficult with a 46 percentile and a JEE Main rank of 314,443, as this rank is usually beyond the threshold for most prestigious engineering colleges. Still, you may be able to take advantage of counseling for private or less well-known universities, whose cutoffs may be lower. Examine particular counseling criteria and consider your options by using the official JEE counseling process.

Being an OBC Muslim and scoring in the 79th percentile on JEE Mains may make it difficult to get into Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), as their cutoffs are often higher. Cutoff dates might, however, change annually. For the best possibilities, look into the precise cutoff trends for JMI and take part in the counselling procedure.

While entrance to elite universities may be difficult, you may be able to gain admission to several government engineering institutes with a ST category rank of 16,212 in JEE Main Session 2. You may investigate:

  • Government Colleges with Lower Cutoffs: This category may include some state engineering colleges or more recent government establishments.
  • Counseling Process: Take part in the counseling process to look into possibilities and seats that are available according to your rank.

Consult the most recent cutoff trends and counseling sessions for exact information on opportunities.

As the Institute doesn't reveal the cutoff for the current as well as the previous years, making predictions becomes difficult. The cutoff varys every year and there is not a fix score to get admission. So according to a rough prediction, atleast 75% of score is required. This prediction is done by seeing the limited seats available, for this year it was 65 only. So as the competition is more, you need to get a favorable score. Although it is adviced to not to rely on any predictions and you should prepare nicely for the entrance exam in order to get admission without any problem.
