For general category admissions, K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering normally does not recognize the EWS (Economically Weaker Section) certificate. The EWS certificate is typically not available for general category admissions; rather, it is reserved for candidates from the general category who fall below a particular economic level.

Obtaining a free seat (usually under the convener quota) in the B.Tech CSE (AI & ML) programme at Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering (GVPCE) is unlikely for someone with an AP EAMCET rank of 72,735. Although GVPCE is a reputable school, there is fierce competition for popular programs like CSE (AI & ML). Candidates with significantly higher ranks often less than 10,000 usually get the first pick in these courses. There may be opportunities in less desirable branches or management quota seats, though. For a more accurate estimate, look up the GVPCE cutoff ranks from prior years.
