BIT Mesra offers BTech courses in 10 specializations. The admission to these courses is based on the score obtained in JEE Main, followed by JoSAA Counselling and CSAB Special Round.

The percentile required for BIT Mesra BTech admission varies for different branches and categories. It also depends on whether the candidate belongs to the home state or the other state. The percentile required for BIT Mesra BTech admission is equivalent to the cutoff rank of JEE Main.

No, for Jadavpur University BE/ BTech admission, a valid WBJEE score is mandatory. To be eligible for the BTech programme offered at Jadavpur University, a candidate needs to pass Class 12 from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Apart from the BTech course, Jadavpur University offers a four-year full-time BE programme, covering fourteen specialisations. Jadavpur University BE admission is also based on WBJEE score.

No, for admission to BTech course, NMIMS does not accept scores of JEE Main. Admission to BTech is based on a valid score of the university-level entrance exam of NMIMS. Aspirants can apply via a valid score of NMIMS CET, which is particularly conducted for admission to its four-year BTech course across all campuses of NMIMS.

The total tuition fee for M.Tech at NIT Surathkal ranges between INR 1.4 Lacs - INR 2.8 Lacs and for NIT Trichy it ranges between INR 1.4 Lacs - INR 3.6 lakh. As per NIRF 2023 rankings, NIT Surathkal was ranked 12th in the “Engineering” category and NIT Trichy is ranked 9th. Moreover, NIT Trichy M.Tech in Communication Systems course is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1 genuine verified student while NIT Surathkal same course is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1 student at Shiksha.

Considering the NIRF ranking and fee, NIT Trichy emerges as a better option for the aspirants of M.Tech programme.

BTech in Computer Science and Engineering is the most competitive specialisation at DTU. The closing rank in 2024 for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering was 6406 for General, 12590 for OBC, 66040 for SC, and 88837 for ST Category, for hte All India quota candidates. For the Home State quota candidates, the cutoff rank for BTech in CSE was 13567 for General category, 57096 for OBC category, 122763 for SC category, 361124 for ST category, 25062 for EWS category candidates. 

Apart from CSE, a few most competitive specialisations turned out to be BTech in Information Technology and BTech in Software Engineering.

SASTRA Deemed University provides an undergraduate BTech programme with 30 specializations and an integrated M.Tech programme with 2 specializations. Admission to 50% of the available seats in each of these courses is based on JEE Main scores and for the remaining 50% of seats, class 12th scores are also required.

AMU is considered as one of the top Engineering institutes with an annual fee as low as around INR 15,690. Professors in the electrical department are very knowledgeable. Talking about the AMU ranking, the university has been ranked 32 by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2023 under the Engineering category. Aligarh Muslim University is also ranked 9th by the India Today and NIRF 2023 under the Architecture category.

The minimal eligibility requirement for General category candidates seeking admission to IIT Madras' M.Tech programme is a 60% aggregate graduation mark. Candidates must additionally pass the GATE exam with a valid score in order to be eligible. The board creates a merit list based on the GATE score, and seats are subsequently offered to candidates based on the institute's seat availability.
