NIT and IITs always has its cutoffs and ranks higher. As you have mentioned your AIR in JEE Mains under OBC quota is 104,000 rank. So with this rank, I am sorry to say that you will not get any NIT.

A rank of 75,000 to 1,00,000 in the JEE Main is equivalent to a percentile of 93, which may not be enough to get into top NITs like NIT Tiruchirappalli or NIT Surathkal. However, some other NITs, such as NIT Calicut or NIT Meghalaya, may accept this rank.

Nevertheless for your own reference you can check the different NITs cutoff through this link:

As there are more NITs cutoffs varies from city to city and also the caste category.
So if you are SC the cutoff will be averagely 2000 to 5000
For home state at open category

  • Chemical engineering - 15073 to 20271
  • Mechanical Engineering- 3741 to 13216
  • EEE - 6980 to 9878

For Other states at open category,

  • Chemical engineering - 3000 to 11137
  • Mechanical Engineering- 3357 to 7320
  • EEE - 2608 to 4818

So the cutoff will be variying upon your caste type and also the state you are in.

If you have 951 IPE marks, you may be eligible for aeronautical engineering.

Generally you have to pass in 10+2 in Science stream or equivalent which is the minimum eligibility criteria for getting an admission to B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering. However, admission is based on the marks scored in Engineering and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) conducted by the Government of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh. The specific cut-off marks for admission can vary from year to year and from college to college. Therefore, it is recommended to go through the specific admission requirements of the colleges.

Yes, you have a good score for getting admission in the SASTRA University.

There are two types of streams for the admission of B.Tech programs at SASTRA University, which are:

Stream 1: The admission of the 70% of seats are based on JEE Main scores and normalized +2 marks.

Stream 2: The admission of the rest 30% of seats are based only on normalized +2 marks.

Since you have scored 95% in your +2 boards and 80% in JEE Mains, you fall under the eligibility criteria for both the streams, but the final admission would also depend on the cut-off for the specific year, which can vary.

It is difficult to tell whether any candidate can get a seat in IIIT in EWS quota with a rank of 31000 or not as per the information. Because it depends on various factors, such as the cut-off of your selected IIIT, number of seats, and performance of other candidates.

Under EWS quota, the Central Government has recently introduced 10% reservation quota. Its benefit is available only to those candidates whose family income is less than Rs 8 lakh.

You are advised to contact your selected institutions and get more information about the special reservation quota. If you have more questions, please share them.
