Gandhinagar University BTech cutoff 2025 was released for various Home State quota categories, including OBC HS. For this category, the overall cutoff ranged from 33286 to 50375. As per the first and last round, the most competitive course for admission was B.Tech. in Computer Engineering (Artificial Intelligence).

Gandhinagar University GUJCET cutoff 2025 was released for various BTech branches for multiple Home State quota categories. For the General HS category, the overall cutoff ranged from 17457 to 50584. As per the last round, the most competitive branch for admission was B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering, and the least competitive was B.Tech. in Computer Engineering

Students can refer to the list below to know the cutoff range for all other HS quota categories. 

  • OBC: 33286 - 50375
  • SC: 31165 - 36840
  • ST: 35067
  • EWS: 21000 - 34004

With 86.17 percentile (rank ~2,15,000) in JEE Main under EWS category and home state Delhi, you have realistic chances for Civil Engineering in newer NITs, IIITs, and Delhi state government colleges. Top NITs are not possible, but mid-tier and state options are open.

  • NIT Agartala, NIT Arunachal Pradesh, NIT Mizoram, NIT Nagaland, NIT Manipur, NIT Srinagar
    • Civil Engineering cutoffs often extend beyond 2 Lacs rank for reserved categories.
    • You have a fair chance in later rounds.

No,  Vishwakarma Government Engineering College (VGEC), Ahmedabad does not allow direct admission without an entrance exam. Admission is strictly through GUJCET (Gujarat Common Entrance Test) or JEE Main, followed by ACPC counselling. Seats are allotted based on merit rank, category, and choice filling. There is no management quota or direct entry route in VGEC since it is a government institution. If you want admission without an entrance exam, you would need to consider private universities in Gujarat or Rajasthan where Class 12 marks or direct admission options are available.

With 93.95 percentile in JEE Main (EWS category), your rank is around 65,000–70,000, which gives you realistic chances in newer NITs, some IIITs, and state government colleges.
