The BITSAT marking scheme is as follows

For every correct answer: +3 marks

For every incorrect answer: -1 mark

Each question on the BITSAT exam will have four possible answers, and only one of those answers will be the right one. At any time, candidates are free to modify their responses to a question. Every wrong response will result in one negative marking. The 130 questions on the BITSAT 2024 exam paper will be broken down into four divisions. The subjects covered in the BITSAT 2024 syllabus are those where applicants' aptitude will be assessed. The paper will not have a time limit for each component. On the other hand, candidates get three hours to finish the exam.

The mode of BITSAT exam is online only. The BITSAT exam is only available online. The official announcement for BITSAT 2024 will be made by the third week of December 2023. The official announcement and the BITSAT 2024 exam dates may be found at bitsadmission.com for candidates. All qualified students will take BITSAT 2024, a computer-based exam that will likely be administered in two sessions. The candidates will shortly be notified of the final deadline by which they must complete and submit the BITSAT 2024 application form in order to be considered for the examination and admission process. The candidates will not be permitted to take the entrance exam if they do not finish registering for BITSAT 2024.

The medium of the BITSAT question paper will be in English Language only. The Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test is known as BITSAT. BITSAT is taken by applicants who wish to be considered for admission to the undergraduate engineering programmes offered on-campus at any of the three campuses of Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani. BITS Pilani has three campuses: one each in Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad. Every year, BITS Pilani administers BITSAT, through which qualified applicants are admitted to the university's B.E., B.Pharm, and M.Sc. degrees. There will be four sections in each BITSAT 2023 session, and each component will last three hours.

National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Guwahati offers only one course for M.Tech  which is Masters of Technology (Medical Devices) which has a total 16 seats out of which 6 are for general category candidates 4 are for OBC students and 3 seats are reserved for  SC candidates, 1 seat for ST candidates and remaining  2 seats for EWS category students.

The seats are given based on GPAT/GATE score of the student.

To take admission in the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Guwahati for B.Tech (Medical Devices) the candidate should be a Pharmacy, Engineering and Medical Graduate with 60% marks.

The duration of the course is 2 Years.
