KCET is not required for B.Tech admission at Nitte (Deemed to be University). Instead, you need to appear for the Nitte University Common Admission Test (NUCAT), which is an entrance test conducted by Nitte University. NUCAT will determine your eligibility and merit for admission to the first year of full-time B.Tech programs at  the Nitte campus

The NUCAT 2023 registration has started from March 24, 2023, and the last date for registration is June 02, 2023. You can apply online through the institute’s website. The NUCAT test will be held on June 17 and June 18, 2023

If your score of 257 marks is in TANCET, then you have a good chance of getting admission in MBA Finance, Marketing, Operations Management, Systems Management, or Human Resource at Sairam College, as the cutoff marks for these courses for general category in 2023 were 533. However, if your score of 257 marks is in TNEA, then you may not be able to get admission in any of the engineering courses at Sairam College, as the cutoff ranks for these courses for general category in 2023 were much higher than 257.
