University of Hyderabad BE/ BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025
The University of Hyderabad BTech offers a unique five-year Integrated BTech+MTech program in Computer Science and Materials Engineering. These integrated course allows students to earn both a Bachelor's and Master's degree. However, students have the flexibility to exit the program after four years, at which point they can receive a four-year BTech degree in Computer Science and Engineering. The minimum eligibility criteria that the students have to qualify to get admission into BTech+MTech programme is they must complete Class 12 from the Science stream (PCM) and secure at least an aggregate of 75%.

University of Hyderabad BTech Fees 2025
The University of Hyderabad BTech fees include multiple components such as tuition fees, hostel fees, examination fees, various one-time charges etc. The total tuition fee for the BTech course is INR 2 lakh. Moreover, the University of Hyderabad has 23 hostels that accommodate over 5000 male and female students, distributed across the campus. The hostel fee structure differs according to the accommodation opted by students, and the category of students. The hostel fee is as follows: for UR/ EWS/ OBC the per month room rent is INR 3,850, for SC/ ST/ PWD the per-month room rent is INR 3,150 and for SC/ST below the annual income of INR 2 lakh the per month room rent is INR 2,150.

There are no B.Tech programmes available through the University of Hyderabad. It does, however, provide admission to a five-year Integrated M.Tech in Computer Science Engineering, provided that applicants complete the necessary requirements and obtain a passing score in the JEE Main exam. With effect from the academic year 2014-2015, the School of Computer and Information Sciences at UoH launched this five-year Integrated M.Tech degree. After five years, students receive an M.Tech degree; however, there is no way out before that point.
The cutoff trend for Int. BTech+MTech at UoH - University of Hyderabad has been increasing in the recent years. The cut off ranks have changed from 40858 to 47353 for OBC, 136705 to 83005 for SC, 2137 to 1623 for ST, 28346 to 41862 for EWS, 189648 to 368 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.
The Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For General category under All India, opening rank was 20147 and closing rank was 30789. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state.
