Yes, it is possible that you get admission in Jain deemed to be a university (JET) without the MAT exam. It is not mandatory to pass the MAT entrance exam for admission. Apart from that, universities organize the Jain entrance exam or other entrance exams like CMAT, CAT, XAT, NMAT, and GMAT.

Jain deemed to be a university hosts the Jain entrance test (JET) for the entrance exam for the Centre of Management Studies. Otherwise, you must pass any of the following exams with a high percentile: CMAT, CAT, XAT, NMAT, GMAT, and MAT. Following that, you must be on the cut-off list, which is followed by a personal interview for both undergraduate and postgraduate candidates as well as a group discussion for undergraduate candidates.

No, you cannot join Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology (SCIT) without taking the Symbiosis National Aptitude Online Test (SNAP). SNAP is mandatory for admission to any institute of Symbiosis International (Deemed University), including SCIT.

The overall cutoff for SRMJEEE is 10,000–70,000. The cutoff for the most popular program, BTech CSE, is 10,000–20,000.

SRM University offers a high number of seats in CSE, but competition for admission is high. A good rank in SRMJEEE is between 5,000–7,000.

You can check the availability of seats in your desired branch at your desired campus and then attend for counseling

It's unlikely that you'll get a CS branch in the main campus of SRM with a rank of 27275. The most popular program, BTech CSE, requires a rank between 10,000 and 20,000.

Here's the eligibility for SC (Scheduled Caste) female students to apply for JoSAA counseling:

  1. They need to have passed their 12th-grade exams with 65% marks and a good score in the JEE Main or JEE Advanced exams.

  2. There's no age restriction; anyone who meets the educational requirements can apply.

  3. SC female candidates might have some relaxation in terms of score requirements compared to others, but the specific rules can differ between colleges.
