The total tuition fee for integrated BTech + MTech course is INR 17.50 lakh. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. Candidates are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled. Yes, Bennett University offers five-year Integrated BTech + MTech course in Biotechnology. Candidates who have passed Class 12 with Physics and Biology/ Biotechnology/ Botany/ Zoology as compulsory subjects with at least 55% aggregate along with any other third subject or with a minimum score of 24 in IB Board is required can apply for Integrated BTech + MTech in Biotechnology.

Admission to BTech course is based on JEE Main or SAT score. Bennett University also accepts NEET score for BTech Biotechnology. Besides, candidates must also pass Class 12 in relevant subjects with at least 50% aggregate or with a minimum score of 24 in IB Board to apply for the BTech course.
Candidates should have passed Class 12 with Physics and Biology/ Biotechnology/ Botany/ Zoology as compulsory subjects with at least 50% aggregate along with any other third subject or with a minimum score of 24 in IB Board to apply for BTech Biotechnology. According to media reports, IIT Patna MTech average package recorded during the placement drive 2025-26 was INR 16.2 LPA. An increase of 7.32% was witnessed as compared with last year.
As per the placement brochure 2024-25 for the IIT Patna placements, the average package offered during IIT Patna placements 2024 MTech program stood at around INR 15 LPA. The MTech placement rate in 2024 was 61.01%.

Yes, IIT Patna provides good placements in BTech course. At the end of phase 1 placement 2025-26, BTech highest and average package was INR 117 LPA and 25.82 LPA. Overall 90 companies visited the campus and more than 390 offers were made during the placement drive 2026.
