The total tuiton fee for the M.Tech programme at NIT Meghalaya is INR 1.40 lakh, The fee structure mentioned doesn't include hostel fee. Further, the fee structure is for general category. Total fee is calculated based on annual/ semester fee available for the academic year 2022-23

Candidates who wish to apply to the M.Tech programme must have a valid GATE score. Students are screened based on their CGPI in BE/BTech and GATE scores during COAP counselling. However, candidates who have completed their BTech from IITs with a CGPA of 8.0 and above can apply without GATE scores. These applications are reviewed by the respective department (s). Hence, the answer to this question is - yes, it is possible to get into IIT Patna without GATE for MTech.

As per the minimum VITEEE Eligibility criteria, candidates should have secured at least an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the +2/Intermediate examination. Candidates who have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are eligible for admission to B.Tech.
