Yes, PIET (Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology) accepts JEE Mains for admission to the B.Tech program. Admissions to B.Tech are based on valid scores of JEE Main. PIET also offers admission to 25% of its seats through the management quota, which does not require JEE Mains. However, for most of the seats, JEE Mains is required for admission to the B.Tech programme at PIET.

Yes, the University offers Entry Level Scholarship on the basis of JEE/CUET exams. Candidates seeking admission in Engineering courses can avail of UPES Dehradun scholarship on the basis of JEE Main score, provided they meet the set percentile at the time of admission.

The eligibility criteria for BTech admissions at PIET are as follows:
- Candidate must have studied Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subject and Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship with 45 precent marks in the above subject taken together from any recognised Board/council.
- 45% aggregate(40% marks in case of SC/ ST category).
