 Around 40–60% of students get placed in well-known companies each year. 
 
 The average salary package is around 3–5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Accenture and IBM. 
 
The university has a placement cell that provides students with training and other employment needs. The cell helps students develop the skills they need for interviews and to be industry ready. 
 
Some say that the placements at DDU are very good and that most rated companies do placements there

 The closing rank for B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering in 2022 was 241750. The closing rank for B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering in 2022 was 829643. The closing rank for B.Tech Information Technology in 2022 was 368622. The closing rank for B.Tech Mechanical Engineering in 2022 was 882907.

The BTech placements at University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE) are quite good.
UVCE has a placement rate of 90%, which is one of the highest among engineering colleges in India.
More than 98% of students in the ISE and CSE branches get placed in UVCE, and the highest salary package offered in the previous year was 40 LPA. Around 115 companies have visited UVCE so far for the 2023 Batch Students and more than 353 offers have been made to students across various streams.

This is the tuition fees excluding the mess fee or hostel fees of Kumaraguru College of Technology. The fees is almost same for all specialisations in B.Tech course.
