Candidates desirous of getting admission to Affiliated Institutes of IMU / other DGS-approved Maritime Training Institutes (MTIs) affiliated to other universities may directly approach the College / Institutes of their choice after obtaining the IMU CET rank certificate issued by IMU.

For 2023, the cut-off was 13254 for General category candidates in the All India quota for BTech in Ceramic Engineering in IIT BHU, Varanasi - Indian Institute of Technology. For female candidates in the general category under the All India quota, 18779 was the closing rank. BTech cut-off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

The cut-off rank in Round 6 for B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering is 6694 which is very close to this range. This was for the general category under the All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. It also varies if the applicant is a female.
