Candidates can take admission to M.Tech at NIT Mizoram through a common counselling named CCMT after qualifying for the GATE exam. In case the seats remain vacant even after the CCMT Counselling is over, non-GATE candidates are then offered admission on the basis of the institute-level admission process. For details on the same, students are advised to connect with the admission office of NIT Mizoram.

The total tuition fee for the four-year BTech programme spread over eight semesters at NIT Mizoram is INR 5 lakh. This fee, however, is been obtained from unofficial sources. Hence, is indicative. For the exact fee, students are advised to reach out to the admission office via call or in person or visit the official website. In addition to the tuition fee, students are also required to pay the application fee for JEE Main which is INR 1,000 for boys and INR 800 for girls.

Students seeking admission to NIT Mizoram for BTech are selected via JoSSA Counselling on the basis of their JEE Main scores/rank. After the same, they are required to report at NIT Mizoram campus on the announced date with all the required documents.
