SSN College of Engineering is ranked at 47th spot in the NIRF 2025 rankings under the "Engineering" category. The college provide placement support to the students. Some of the top recruiters during the placement drive were TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, etc.

After completing the education in Electronics Engineering, some of the students opt for a Master’s programme in specialisations like Telecommunication, Microelectronics & VLSI Design, Signal Processing, Wireless Communication, Embedded Systems, Robotics, etc. While the others join the Core Engineering companies, where they get to work as Design Engineer, ASIC Engineer Trainees, Junior Embedded Engineers or Network Support Engineer. Students can also opt for non-core jobs as Quality Analyst and Programmers. Further, the students looking for government placement can work as Technicians at BSNL, ISRO, MTNL, ONGC, etc.

Yes, Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering offers BTech in a full-time mode. The four-year course is divided into eight semesters. SSNCE offer BTech in eight specialisations. The specialisations in which the course is offered are mentioned below:

Shoolini University can be a good option for BTech as it provides scholarships which can waive off tuition fee. The total tuition fee of the BTech programme at Shoolini University ranges between INR 5.1 Lacs - INR 9.4 lakh. The median package secured after the completion of the course was INR 4.28 LPA. Considering the total tuition fee and the package secured this seems to be a good return on the investment. The fee is sourced from unofficial sources and hence, is indicative.

No. The authorities did not accept any requests for change in the exam centre after the application and slot booking process was over. Since the allotment of exam centres were done as per the preferences submitted in the VITEEE 2024 application form, the candidates were advised to be careful while making their selection. The authorities allotted the candidates as per the preferences that they had submitted and the seat availability in each centre. All candidates were advised to visit their allotted exam centre a day earlier so as to become familiar with the area.

No. The authorities did not notify the candidates beforehand regarding the release of VITEEE 2024 admit card. The candidates were required to keep checking the official website to remain updated with the latest information regarding the VITEEE 2024 hall ticket. Since the admit card was generated after the slots were booked, there was no official VIT 2024 admit card date. Candidates had to access the slot booking facility and complete the process immediately to download the VITEEE 2024 admit card.

No. The authorities did not accept soft copies of the VITEEE 2024 admit card at the examination centre. All candidates had to present their original VIT 2024 hall ticket printout along with the other required documents at the examination centre. If the VITEEE admit card was not presented, then the candidates were not allowed to attempt the examination. All candidates were advised to immediately download and print out the admit card after it is released.

Candidates had to present their VITEEE 2024 admit card along with additional documents while reporting at the exam centres. The authorities required an identity proof along with the VIT 2024 admit card from the candidate. The identity proof had to be government approved document such as Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, PAN Card, School ID, etc. In case the candidates were unable to present their VITEEE admit card 2024 and identity proof at the centre, then they were not allowed to attempt the examination.
