Civil engineering is core engineering subject . Civil engineering in VJTI has 60 seats for first year after 10+2 students. 20 seats for direct second year Diploma students. For open students cut off for mhtcet is around 97-95 percentile.
Civil department has best classrooms than other branches in VJTI.

All Diploma first year students have same fee structure . The variation lies in respective caste of student . Open caste students have to pay full fees. Obc, sbc, sc, st, etc. have discount in fee amount .

Yes, B.Tech in well-known branch IT is offered in VJTI.
One has to get good marks in mhtcet which is entrance exam for engineering. One have to score 99 percentile with decent rank . Seats available here is 60 for B.Tech students and 20 for Diploma students. There is also same branch named COMPUTER ENGINEERING. Both need very high ranking in Maharashtra.
IT branch gets good placement in like in google, adobe, etc. Some students also start their own venture in AI and ML .

All Diploma branches have same fee structure. Variation is in students caste. As per caste open caste students have to pay full fee amount and other castes like OBC, VJNT, etc. have fee discount or have to pay less fee amount
