Yes, B.Techin Marine engineering (Lateral Entry) is offered by IMU - IMU Kolkata Indian Maritime University. Seperate exam for Lareral Entry is conducted in IMUCET every year and one need to haveDiplomain mechanical engineering to get admission as Lateral Entry inB.TechMarine Engineering. 

The fees forB.Techin Marine engineering (Lateral Entry) at IMU-IMU Kolkata Indian Maritime University remains the same as regular course i.e. Rs.1,25,000 for semester 3, 5, 7 and Rs 1,00,000 for semester 4,6,8.
