The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra other than General category are - 1,49,213 for SC category, 3,03,602 for ST category, 37,913 for EWS category and 2309 for PWD category. While the BIT Mesra admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State quota. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

The opening and closing rank at BIT Mesra depends on the category and quota of candidates. For General category under All India, the opening rank was 25,693 and closing rank was 45,556. These cut-offs are differant when it comes to other categories, female candidates and even domicile of home state. BIT Mesra admission to BTech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra will release 6-8 rounds of JEE Main cutoffs for admission to B.Tech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:

  • The JEE Main score of the candidate
  • The category of the candidate
  • The number of seats available in the course

Candidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.

While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India or Home State quota. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

BTech is one of the popular courses of PP Savani University. When it comes to placements, the institute offers decent placements annually, especially fro the CSE branch. The course-wise placement details are yet to be released for the batch passed out in 2023. However, the highest and average package offered during PP Savani University placement 2023 stood at INR 26 LPA and INR 6 LPA, respectively.

For 2022, Birla Institute of Technology Mesra cut off was 18,880 for the General category candidates in All India quota for B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering specialisation. The IPU CET question paper will consist of 100 objective-type questions, where each question will have four options. Candidates need to select the correct option and mark it on the OMR sheet. Each question carries four marks, and for every incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted as negative marking.

A candidate may change their KEAM option priority any number of times within the time schedule permitted. The priority of options registered and saved at the time of closing of the facility for registering options alone will be considered for processing.
