To be eligible for BTech programmes, candidates must have completed Class 12 with 75% aggregate (65 per cent for SC/ST). Moreover, if the candidates want to apply for BTech and Integrated MTech at IIT ISM Dhanbad, then they can apply via JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced application. The JEE Main application process consists of three steps, i.e. , registration, form filling & documents upload followed by payment of application fees.

After IPU CET result is announced, candidates must participate in counselling. Counselling includes document verification, choice filling, and seat allotment. Candidates are allotted seats based on scores in IPU CET 2026. Candidates must check IPU CET counselling 2026 page for updates of result and counselling. Candidates must participate in counselling according to schedule.
