No it would be difficult as the rank should be below 8000 atleast for getting mining engineering and all other courses subsequently the ranks are below 5000.

These days, it's almost impossible to take admission in an Engineering College in any state, unless you are domicile of that state. It is more pronounced for lateral admission after the diploma. For fresh admission, some states do allow admissions under national quota

Actually you have plenty of option. You can get into any private college with desired course but for getting into government college it depends on the entrance examination marks. If you get 95 percentile in JEE Mains you may get into NIT's.

Hello Paritosh Thakur, only NTA is capable of finding and declaring percentile. One thing though is very well known that increase in absolute marks may not mean increase of percentile. This is so since whatever percentile you obtained indicates that those many percentage of students are behind you in order of merit. You can take up case with redress grievance cell of NTA
Best wishes to you.

Hello Kusum, by now all admissions in Maharashtra are already over. In addition, unfortunately Somany does not declare this information in public domain. Best wishes to you.

The simple and short answer is 'No'. You will not get admission in DTU for any engineering branch as your rank is too high. Only top 30000 rank holders can get admission in DTU.

If I wanted to choose ECE, I would have taken DTU. But, both the colleges are equivalent. You priority should be based on your location (if you are in Delhi). Choose the one which is near your residence. If you are from Delhi, you will not (99% sure ;p) get hostel. You will have to take a PG outside the campus. In NSUT, there is more chance of getting a hostel. If you are not from Delhi, you can easily get a hostel in both the colleges. In academic life, both colleges are equal. However, DTU gets a little ahead on the basis of college life, infrastructure, campus, etc. But take your call based on your location.
