According to Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science, it is the only engineering college in Karimnagar with an NAAC "A" Grade and NBA Accreditation. Three Polytechnic degrees are available from the college:

Usually, the admission process for majority of courses starts in the month of May and ends in July. However, for many courses admission process is through entrance exam and counseling process. Interested candidate can apply for both online and offline form by filling up required information and submitting online and offline as required. Admission is based on merit and eligibility criteria.

Yes, NIFTEM has a football team that competes at the national level. The National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management Student Council has a sports society called "Samarthya. With the present epidemic, several schools are offering an online Advanced PGP in Data Science and Machine Learning. These schools include SimplyLearn, Upgrade, NIIT, and others.
