The difference between industrial IoT and IoT is that the former focuses on managing home appliances, which increase consumer convenience by saving resources such as electricity, whereas the latter focuses on critical systems such as aerospace, health care, and factory machinery automation and connecting machines and people together along with data analytics. No, you cannot pursue IIoT because, in engineering, an industrial IoT course is not available; only an IoT course is available. I hope this will help you.
