Hello Sohini Mondal, admissions in engineering colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu are restricted to domiciles of that state. It's difficult to get admission for a student who is not having domicile. However it's a different story for seats under management quota of private colleges. However, for this you will need to approach management individually.
Best wishes to you.

Hello Shivraj Ture, it's okay. There is no specific or special process. You have to just approach the administrative staff of the college from where you passed first year but did not pursue second year. They may ask you reasons for this drop. I am sure that you have taken this drop for some reason. Give that and start attending classes immediately. Best wishes to you.

The two IITs that you mentioned are the best in the country. It's almost impossible to distinguish between the two as academics, placements, and faculty are all top-notch in both these establishments. Hence I would not like to place one over the other. However, there would be diehard proponents for each of these to say that theirs is the best. However, I would strongly advise that take admission where it is most convenient. Best wishes to you.

Hello Selva Bharath, I can understand your angst and the anxiety. Yes, branch of CSE is in great demand by students and as a result, cutoffs are a little stiff for this branch. TNEA accepts registration of students based on performance in 12th and issues ranking based on this. I am sure you would be knowing your ranking. I am attaching a link that will give you information about cutoffs in this college for different branches. https://www.shiksha.com/college/dr-sivanthi-aditanar-college-of-engineering-Tamil-Nadu-other-24256/cutoff

Hello Selva Bharath, this college in Tamilnadu admits students based on the marks obtained in 12th examination. However students have to register themselves on the website of TNEA and it then converts marks into ranks. I am unable to translate your marks into ranking. Hence I am attaching a link that will tell you cutoffs in various disciplines in previous years. In the branch that you mentioned, cutoffs were around ranking of 35000. https://www.shiksha.com/college/dr-sivanthi-aditanar-college-of-engineering-Tamil-Nadu-other-24256/cutoff

Hello Kewal Krishan Garg, your ranking is reasonably good. I feel thstvwuth this ranking you have a fair chance of getting admission in your desired branch. But I really do not comprehend as to how will you be able to complete admission process if you are unable to take part in counseling. Perhaps you can communicate with VIT and get some answers. Best wishes to you.
