The admissions in B.Tech are based on your JEE Main rank. Of all the available seats 85% are reserved for the candidate who has a domicile of Uttarakhand and 15% for other states. Other than B.Tech for other agricultural courses University offers it conducts its own exam every year.

Chandigarh University is the best technical university. With a GPA of 3.28, the university achieved NAAC A accreditation in 2019. The university's NIRF ranking increased by 18 points in 2021, which can largely be attributed to the course design and programme. As per my knowledge, You are eligible for M.Tech CSE as the minimum eligibility criteria is B.E/B.Tech in (EEE/ ECE/ Electronics/ IT/ CSE/ I&C/ E&I/ Instrumentation) or MCA.
