Hi, Most private colleges in India do not have an entrance exam for BCA admission, although few private deemed universities do. In general, most schools and institutions across the country offer direct admission to BCA students. BCA students must have passed a 10+2 exam from any recognised board with English as a passing subject in order to be considered for direct admission. Bachelor of computer application BCA is an educational degree that includes a course and a programme in computer applications. BCA is India's most popular computer Science course. Few colleges which take direct admission are;-

Hello Basu Patil, I do not want to give you false hopes. You have obtained a ranking of about 43K out of 50K students who appeared. Almost all students give CSE as first choice. However if you are bent on this branch then only option is perhaps to go for management quota seats. Here you will have to pay little extra fees but then, you will get branch of your choice. Else, I am attaching a link that will predict the branch and the college that you can get based on your performance in this exam. https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/comedk-uget-college-predictor
Best wishes to you.

Hello Submit Kumar Sahu, I must say that your ranking is a little on the lower side. About 50K students appeared for this entrance exam and your ranking is about 26K. Correct? Getting CSE looks difficult to me. However to help you I am attaching a link that will predict the branch and then the college that you can get based on your performance in this exam. This prediction could have some errors since it's based on trends of previous years. https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/comedk-uget-college-predictor
Best wishes to you.

Hello! Krishnakant Jaiswal, Bachelor of computer sciences or BCA is a very good course to do. There are plenty of employment opportunities after completion of the graduation in BCA. Let me inform you that last year, two big IT companies of India, employed more than 1lakh freshers each. Many of these were BCA and not engineering graduates of CSE branch. Modern times companies do require talents in varied fields and post BCA placements is seeing riding trends. Many colleges have reported as high as 90% placements of this branch. Best wishes to you.

Hello Tanmay Agarwal, I am afraid that after completion of 1 year of BCA will not entitle you for lateral more of admission into engineering colleges. For this one needs to complete Diploma in engineering, a three years course after completion of 10th board. You are doing BCA. I would like to advise you to continue with this course. There are plenty of opportunities for employment after graduation in this branch. For better prospects you can even think of doing MCA. Just for information, about 50% fresh engineering graduates do not get placed after completion of four years of degree course. Please do rethink. Best wishes to you.
