Hello Ananya, this your query has come to me again apparently because no counsellor is attempting it. This is perhaps because you have forgotten to mention the name of the place where this college is located. In the options of this information it's very tough to answer your query since there are plenty of colleges across India with similar sounding names. However genericically speaking I can state that for the BTech in food technology the college will not what happens prescribe any cut off since the number of students who see admission in this particular branch or not too many compare with number of seats available on offer for admission. You can therefore be rest assured that you are application will not be rejected and you will definitely be considered for admission in the scores if you are full feeling all the minimum criterias mention for admission.

Hello! Faisal Ansari, it is very interesting to see your goal but unfortunately I see no path to achieve success of your goal. Perhaps, if you were born and where domicile of Tamil Nadu you could have achieve this very comfortably. This is so since presently it is only in this state that there is no entrance exam what so ever for admissions to engineering colleges as admissions are based on marks obtained in 12th. Of course presently even the Rajasthan government is thinking whether to do away with the entrance exam for engineering admissions but the decision is still awaited. In Mumbai and in Maharashtra, the engineering admissions are based on the performance in MHT CET which is the entrance exam conducted by the state. Of course, from current year some weightage will be given to the marks obtained in 12th also. Considering all this, I am constrained to advise you that what you are seeking is just not feasible at least at the moment. Best wishes to you.

Hello! Vandana Jadhav, admissions to diploma courses in various polytechnics across whole of Maharashtra is done centrally by directorate of technical education of the state of Maharashtra. Registration has already started and students are expected registered themselves and give the choices of the institutions where they want to study. Let me assure you that Government polytechnic at Pune has not prescribed any cut off for any branch for admission. Any student who is able to register on the website can give choice of this Institute and any branch which this Institute offers. However, whether admission is obtained or not, it depends entirely on the rush of students for this branch, in this particular polytechnic. Government polytechnic at Pune is one of the premier most institutions for diploma studies and as a result generally the closing ranks are quite high. More so for the branch of computer Engineering. My estimate is that if a student is in top percentile, then the chances are quite bright.

Chemistry for three years/six semesters
or
Candidates having a Bachelors degree without (Major/Honours) must have the concerned degree with (a) Chemistry as a subject for three years/six semesters, (b) Minimum 2 (Two) courses in Mathematics (c) Minimum 2 (Two) courses in Physics
or
In B.Sc. /BS, at least six Chemistry subjects for three years/six semesters. At least FOUR courses as general elective (GE) from the following list of subjects taking at least one Physics and one Mathematics course: Physics Mathematics, Biology Biochemistry, Computer Science, Biotechnology. The student should study one Mathematics and one Physics subject during his/her course of study. This is what most of the IIT's demand. 12th subject is not asked.

Hello! Ramiz Hasware, it's very nice to hear from you that after working for 10 years you are now interested and doing you are graduation in engineering. Yes I fully support you in that studying at any age in life or any stage in life is always good for developing one's career and one's knowledge. But I am afraid to tell you that at least presently in India no professional course including that of Engineering graduation can be offered by any university under the distance education more which is what you are sinking. However there is a way out. Ask you are working and an Indian citizen you can think of doing what is called as A M I E. By completing all the papers of this examination, you get qualification which is equivalent to graduation in engineering and is accepted by everyone for all the purposes. Best wishes to you.

Hello! Kunal Chinchgharkar, if you have done your matriculation and obtained the minimum marks required for seeking admission in a Diploma course, then definitely you will get admission. Of course, whether you will get admission for CSE depends on how much percentage you have obtained in 10th standard. This is so, because in various all the students give this branch as their first choice. This results in the closing percentage to remain very high because the number of seats available or finite and get freedom by these top ranking students. Hello! Namratha, these days, many colleges are offering Certificate courses in variety of subjects. Students just need to obtain the brochure of the college and go through it for knowing different subjects in which they can obtain Certificate by doing that particular course. Even the open University like IGNOU also offer large number of Certificate courses in almost every subject.
