Remembering chemical formulae and equations will help you immensely in JEE Mains exam and so will it in this exam. The best reference any one can ask for is the NCERT prescribed course material. Coming to Inorganic Chemistry several students stand by NCERT books for practice and revision. In few cases, students find questions straight from NCERT books. No Migration shall be allowed from other Universities/Colleges to the University Schools of Studies, University maintained colleges or affiliated institutions I. e. no inter-university migration shall be allowed in normal circumstances. It can be allowed in special circumstances by the Vice-Chancellor, on the recommendations of a Sub-Committee, comprising of three members of
Academic Council, constituted by the Vice-Chancellor subject to the condition that the applicant student/candidate must have cleared each paper of both the semester of 1st year/or all papers of the 1st year as it applies for a particular programme. It must be ensured that there should not be any gap between the 1st year and the 2nd year of a particular programme meaning thereby that the pursuance of the programme remains continuous. However, under no circumstances a student /candidate who has compartment in any one paper of the 1st year or either of the 1st or 2nd semester of the 1st year shall be permitted for migration. Migration (inter-se) from the University Schools of Studies, maintained institutions or affiliated institutions shall, however be considered as under :-
(a) No migration shall be allowed during first year of studies except on extreme
compassionate grounds, with the prior approval of Academic Council.
(b) Migration from University School of Studies to University maintained institutions or affiliated institutions and vice-versa or from one institution to another institution in the same programme/ discipline in the second year / third semester can be considered in some of cases.

If you consider Thapar university then it is a good decision because it has much greater opportunities than Bennett university and at Thapar University, you get much better exposure. As Thapar university took admissions through JEE Mains. The Placements have been good. Most of the well known MNCs like Google, Microsoft, Amazon etc. Visited the campus. 35 students placed in Samsung R&D and 31 by Deloitte. Japanese company Hikari Tsushin offered 33 Lacs to 12 students more than 115 students placed till now with an average of about 9 Lacs. The fee is very expensive in Bennett university. If one's competence for engineering is low, then it is not the right choice. If your JEE score is low, you should look for other cheap options. There is a number of other private universities where the fee is low & also have placement opportunities in IT companies similar to what Bennett would have or even Bennett might not have that IT cos for few initial batches.
