You can take the Duolingo English Test multiple times. There is no limit to the number of times you can take the DET. Each test result is valid for two years. The score for each attempt may vary. You will have the option to choose which score you want to share with the university.

The Duolingo English Test Price for Indian students is USD 70 (6,000 approxx.) from February 2025. This fee is to buy just one test. If you want to buy another bunddle test (2 tests) the price is USD 118 (USD 59 per test). 

To take the Duolingo English Test at home, you need to have below mentioned things:

• Computer with a functioning microphone, speakers, and web camera.
• Your camera should be on the top-middle of your monitor or screen.
• A phone with a camera to record your computer during the test.
• A working internet connection.

The Duolingo English Test is adaptive test. It uses technology to personalize the testing experience and provide a more precise and efficient evaluation of your English skills. 

The difficulty of questions in the DET test depends on your performance. If you answer a question correctly, the next question is likely to be harder. If you get it wrong, the next question will probably be easier.

International students are required to submit their English Language Proficiency including their IELTS scores at Charles Sturt University Melbourne. The IELTS score requirements for international applicants are given as follows:

Students who attain below the required minimum scores can apply for the Embry. Riddle Language Institute (ERLI) programme at the ERAU, Prescott campus if they have at least TOEFL iBT score of 40 and IELTS score of 5.0; however, the university does not assure the students about their selection.

Furthermore, international students can also submit their SAT I scores to add to their language test scores.
