Yes, but only for the Math section. You can't use it for Science. Make sure your gadget is on the approved list, like a TI-84. The test center wont give you one. If the battery dies, that is your problem. Bring a backup. It helps with difficult calculations but you don't need it for everything.

There is no provision of form correction in XAT. Thus, candidates must make sure they fill correct details in their XAT application forms or if they have made a mistake in any field, then must rectify it before pay the exam fee.
