Yes, but only for the Math section. You can't use it for Science. Make sure your gadget is on the approved list, like a TI-84. The test center wont give you one. If the battery dies, that is your problem. Bring a backup. It helps with difficult calculations but you don't need it for everything.

The ACT test is conducted at various locations in the major cities of India. Some of these cities are Ahmedabad, New Delhi, Pune, Noida, Jaipur, Kodaikanal, Vadodara, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Chennai. Indeed, the Amity School of Communication (ASCO) recognizes the Common Admission Test score for entry into its Master of Business Administration course. Candidates who achieve a percentile of 75 or higher in the Common Admission Test are eligible to participate in the selection process at Amity School of Communication. In addition to the Common Admission Test, Amity School of Communication also considers other entrance exams such as GMAT, NMAT, and MAT.

ASCO does conduct its own written test followed by a personal interview but, if the candidate's previous academic performance is strong enough, then direct admission may be granted. This totally depends on the university. It is mandatory to clear the PI in case direct admission is not granted.

There is no provision to submit XAT application form online. The process to register for XAT exam is completely online. All the activities are conducted online at the xatonline.in website such as registration, form filling, fee payment. Candidates can fill the XAT application form on a desktop/laptop/tablet or any device with internet. Fee payment is to be done through debit/credit card or net banking.

Yes, candidates have to fill the admission forms of XAT accepting colleges separately as there is no option to choose multiple colleges in the XAT form. Candidates can only choose XLRI in the XAT application form, for a fee of INR 200.

There is no provision of form correction in XAT. Thus, candidates must make sure they fill correct details in their XAT application forms or if they have made a mistake in any field, then must rectify it before pay the exam fee. Once the exam fee is paid, the form will get submitted and there will be no option to make changes.

Sections pertaining to candidate's identity (name, gender, DOB, category, address), education, parents, test city, photo, signature, ID card, test city and fee are mandatory sections in XAT application form. Only work experience and option to select XLRI as preferred colleges sections are optional.
