The type of PTE exam that is accepted for the Canada visa is the PTE Core exam. The exam is accepted for all sorts of visa applications including the ones leading to permanent residency and citizenship. The PTE Core exam results remain valid for two years and accepted by IRCC for visa applications in Canada.

Yes. The authority revised the IBPS PO exam pattern in 2025 for Prelims and Mains. The official notification was released on June 30, 2025 on the official website at ibps.in. The IBPS PO prelims exam carries 100 marks, whereas the Mains exam was conducted for 200 marks (objective)+ 25 marks (Descriptive).

The PTE exam that is accepted for the Australian PR is the PTE Academic exam. The PTE Academic exam is highly accepted for university admissions and all types of visa applications in Australia and New Zealand, including those for the permanent residency (PR).

Candidates can check below the IBPS PO 2026 Mains the latest exam pattern:
- In the Mains exam, 4 sections will be there namely Reasoning Ability, English Language and Data Analysis & Interpretation and General Awareness.
- The total time for IBPS PO 2026 Mains Objective Exam is 160 minutes and 30 minutes additional for descriptive test. Therefore, the total duration of the Mains exam is 190 minutes or 3 hours and 10 minutes.
- A penalty of 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer in the objective test.
- In the Mains exam now, 145 objective questions will be asked for 200 marks and an additional Descriptive Paper worth 25 marks

The IBPS PO Prelims exam pattern was revised in 2025. The overall marks and the negative marking remain the same, but internally changes have been made in the prelims exam pattern. The marking scheme has been changed. Also, the marks for the Quantitative Aptitude have been reduced to 30 from 35, and on the other hand, the marks for the Reasoning section have been increased by 5, that is, from 35 to 40. However, the number of questions remains the same.

PTE exam in India is conducted at Pearson authorised test centres only. Currently, there are 62 PTE test centres in India. Each of which can accommodate 10-15 test takers in a single setting.

The IBPS PO notification is likely to be released in June-July 2026. The details that will be given in the notification PDF are exam dates for both Prelims and Mains, vacancy, eligibility, Application process, selection procedure, exam pattern, syllabus, Important guidelines, etc.

The official notification has not been released for 2026. But as per the official notification released for 2025, the IBPS PO application fee was INR 850 for General/OBC candidates and INR 175 for SC/ST/ PwBD candidates inclusive of GST.
- INR 175/- (inclusive of GST) for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
- INR 850 /- (inclusive of GST) for all others.
It is to be noted that Bank Transaction charges for Online Payment of application fees/ intimation charges will have to be borne by the candidate.
