Both. DU has courses that admit students on the bases of the entrance and the other lot accepts students if they clear the merit list.

For general category, you need 70 and more for good colleges. OBC category needs more than 65 for better colleges. For SC/ST, you need only 40 to 50 marks to take admission in the best colleges.

No. JEE Mains rank does't matter at all. The key is only JEE Advance Rank to open the lock of IITs.

To get admission in NIFT, you have to take up entrance test of NIFT and clear that and other rounds. Then, you can get admission in NIFT.
