Assam Down Town University (ADTU) offer merit-based as well as entrance-based admission. Assam Down Town University (ADTU) accepts several national and state-level entrance exams for 2026 admissions. It accepts exam score such as: CUET, JEE Main and Assam CEE. For specific disciplines, other exams like CAT/MAT (MBA), GATE (M.Tech), and AdtU-RET (PhD) are accepted.

TNEA has domicile-based eligibility. You are eligible if you or your parents are Tamil Nadu residents, you studied in a TN school for a specified period, or your parents are central/state government employees posted in Tamil Nadu. Children of Central Government Employees are eligible regardless of home state if their parents have worked in TN for the past 5 years.
Pure out-of-state students who don't meet any eligibility conditions cannot participate in TNEA.

Different colleges use different admission routes:
JEE Advanced - IIT Madras (most competitive, requires clearing JEE Main first)
JEE Main + JoSAA - NIT Trichy, IIIT Trichy, IIIT Kancheepuram
TNEA (Class 12 marks) - All government/aided colleges, Anna University CEG, PSG Tech, SSN College, CIT Coimbatore
VITEEE - VIT Vellore and VIT Chennai (own exam, no JEE needed)
SRMJEEE - SRM Kattankulathur and other SRM campuses
AEEE / JEE Main - Amrita University Coimbatore
NEET - All medical (MBBS/BDS) colleges
TANCET - PG admissions (MBA/MCA/M.Tech) in Tamil Nadu

No, students cannot get admission in Lingaya's Lalita Devi Institute of Management and Sciences without entrance exam. The institute offers seats through valid entrance score only. Even under the management quota, appearing for IPUCET/ CUET is mandatory.

Manav Rachna University BSc admissions are determined based on the score obtained by students in the entrance test. The MRU accepts MRNAT scores for taking admissions. Students must appear in MRNAT exam and earn valid marks. Along with this, students have to clear the interview round too to get selected.

No, Maharashtra State CET Cell has not moved the MHCET Law to a two-attempt system. Although it is expected that the MH CET Law might be held twice in a year to match the national-level exam standards.
