Based on the previous year's GATE question papers and GATE analysis- we can expect alteast 30 to 40% of the questions to be MSQs and NATs, and here's why -

- Requires conceptual clarity with accuracy in attempting these questions.

IIT Guwahati will be conducting the GATE 2026 exam on February 7, 8, 14, and 15. Registrations are open from August 28 to September 28 (without late fees) and till October 9 (with late fees).

Yes you can take the JAC 12th improvement exmas in 2026, even if you originally appeared in 2024 for that:
You must have passed the class 12 exam in 2024
You can apply to improve marks in one or more subjects
You must apply as a private candidate since you are no longerenrolled in school
Only theory papers can be reattempted
