In Ray Optics And Optical Instruments questions, when using lens and mirror formulas, sign convention helps in maintaining consistency. The sign convention determines whether quantities like image distance, object distance, and focal length are taken as positive or negative. The incorrect usage of these sign conventions mostly leads to wrong magnifications and image positions. For accurate results, it is essential to follow the Cartesian sign.

If you miss your preferred GMAT slot. Check nearest test centers and available dates. Keep checking your desired center regularly. If any student cancels their slot, you can book that.

Applicants have the flexibility to schedule their GMAT exam dates 24 hours before the actual exam date (both test centre and online). But always getting a preferred slot may not always be possible for centre testing. The reason being, that the slots get booked fast and become unavailable last minute. This is why it is advised to book GMAT exam dates and centres in advance.
