CLAT exam day dos:
- Reach examination centre at the reporting time mentioned on your CLAT admit card.
- Carry two copies of the CLAT admit card, one photo ID card, passport size photos
- PwD candidates should carry relevant certificates and documents.
- Carry a blue/black ball point pen for signing attendance sheet

I was unable to find any official, documented tie-breaking rule for candidates who score the same in entrance exam / qualifying exam.

The CLAT Exam Duration is 2 hours (120 minutes). Candidates must note that the exam will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm. The exam is held in single slot. The exam is held in pen-and-paper mode.

The Consortium of NLUs conducts the CLAT Exam from 2 pm to 4 pm. The exam is held only in one slot. There are no shifts in CLAT Exam. The exam will be held in pen-and-paper mode.

The CLAT Counselling Process is completely online. Candidates need to register through the counselling portal, upload their documents, and participate in choice filling and seat allotment online. Physical presence is not required for most stages. However, original document verification is done in-person at designated centres. The Consortium of NLUs publish the CLAT Invite List that will carry important details like roll number of the candidates who have scored high enough to be shortlisted the counselling process, their total marks and other details. With this candidates will be able to register for seat allotment in National Law Universities (NLUs) for UG and PG programs.

Though CLAT Preparation takes months of practice, it is still not impossible. You can prepare for the CLAT Exam in one week with a correct and dedicated focus. But you should have at least some understanding of concepts to clear the exam.

The CLAT Admission Process 2026 is completely online. Candidates can check CLAT Answer Key PDF online only. The CLAT Answer Key published on consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Candidates can cross check their attempted answers with the answer key to understand their expected score.
