GMAT Focus Edition has three sections. You must answer 21 Quantitative, 23 Verbal, and 20 Data Insights questions. Total duration of the exam is 2 hours and 15 minutes. Final score ranges between 205 and 805. The writing section is not included.

There are currently three sections on GMAT:
- Quantitative Reasoning (QR)
- Verbal Reasoning (VR)
- Data Insights (DI)
All the three sections are timed equally, that is for 45 minutes each.

Candidates are required to follow the steps given below to get admission to NIFT Srinagar:
1. Candidates must take the NIFT Entrance Exam in order to be admitted to NIFT Srinagar.
2. Candidates must fulfill the prerequisites for the course for which they are applying.
3. Candidates are invited to the interview rounds based on how well they performed in the admission exam.
4. After that, candidates must sign up for NIFT Srinagar's counseling program.

For both the BDes and MFM programs offered by NIFT Srinagar, admissions are entrance based.
Students are admitted to NIFT Srinagar based on entrance exams and other admissions rounds.
Step 1: The NIFT entrance exam, popularly known as the "written test," is the first requirement for applicants.
Step 2: Those that advanced from the first round undergo the scene test. The final shortlist is made by looking at the results of both phases.
