Yes. In UPSC IES 2025, there is a negative marking. As per the official notification, there are four alternatives for the answers to every question. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one-third of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty.

The UPSC (ESE) IES 2025 prelims exam carry a total of 500 marks.
Paper 1: 200 marks
Paper 2: 300 Marks

Candidates must reach the allotted centre as per the date and time allotted in their UP CPET Admit Card. Any digital format (on the mobile) of the UP CPET admit card will not be accepted at the examination centre. Hence students are advised to bring the hard copy to the exam centre.

No, SAT used to stand for Scholastic Aptitude Test. The SAT acronym does not hold any meaning after becoming digital and the entire exam format witnessing a major change, the SAT exam full form is no longer valid and not used by College Board as well. SAT exam is addressed as SAT exam rather than using its full form.
