The MICAT exam is conducted in two different months for its two phases. The first phase is usually held in the month of December, while the second phase is conducted in February.

MICA will release the final results soon after the completion of the Group Exercise and Personal Interview rounds. The MICAT final results are tentatively scheduled to be declared in the month of April.

The total duration of the MICAT exam is 2 hours and 15 minutes (135 minutes). Candidates will find the time slot assigned to them on their MICAT admit cards.

Candidates can download MICAT admit card until the exam date. MICAT hall ticket is required on the exam day.

The GATE normalisation process is mainly done for the papers which is conducted in multiple sessions, to ensure fairness across different difficulty level. The GATE normalisation process uses the formula based on mean and standard deviation of marks from all sessions. 

The normalisation process in GATE is done for computer Science and engineering (CSE) and civil engineering paper (CE).

Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad starts the MICAT Phase 1 registration in the month of September. The registration for the first phase concludes in the third week of November. For the second phase, registration concludes in the last week of January.

No, GATE official question paper is not released yet. The question paper for respective subjects will be made available along with answer key and GATE 2026 response sheet. The expected release date is last week of February.
